Career Highlights

Completed the one week training required to be a trainer for
Laying the Foundation in June, 2009.

Had the honor of presenting four sessions at CAMT 2009!
It was so refreshing to work with dedicated math teachers who
give up time during their summer vacation to attend the conference.

My colleagues honored me by selecting me to be the 2006 Teacher of the Year.  The honor has pressured me to live up to the selection ever since.

Why I want “ TO HAVE “SUMFUN” WITH MATH!”
Since 2002, I have spent half a day working with the math teachers of Brownwood ISD. We organized six weeks curriculum calendars, wrote matching vocabulary lists, and taught lessons together.  I had fun watching teachers grow and celebrate learning.  It has been so much fun.  It has been contagious.  Most people want to live, laugh, love.  I want to design math lessons, teach those lessons, and celebrate the learning.
